Ashok Lalla, Leader - Digital, South Asia, Mindshare has resigned from the company and is currently serving his notice period at the company. According to this report in exchange4media, May 31, 2012 will be Lalla’s last day at Mindshare.
Confirming the news to India Digital Review, Ashok Lalla, said, “I am still exploring opportunities and have not yet decided my next stint.” In November 2011, Mindshare had appointed Ashok Lalla as Leader, Digital, for South Asia. Lalla moved in from Euro RSCG, where he was President – Digital, and worked with several blue-chip clients including Unilever and IBM. Prior to Euro, he was Director of Internet Marketing at Taj Hotels where he led the worldwide digital strategy and ecommerce for the hotel chain for nine years.
Meanwhile, in January 2012, Mindshare had said that its Indian operation will become the network’s Mobile Marketing Centre of Excellence. The Centre of Excellence team was led by Ashok Lalla with Vinod Thadani, regional director, GroupM South Asia.
