Mindshare, the flagship media agency of GroupM, has appointed Ashok Lalla as Leader, Digital, for South Asia. Lalla moves in from Euro RSCG, where he was President – Digital, and worked with several blue-chip clients including Unilever and IBM. Lalla will be based in Mumbai and will report to Ravi Rao, Leader, Mindshare South Asia.
Ashok Lalla has over 18 years of agency and client business experience on brands ranging from one-cent candies to million-dollar hotel stays. Prior to Euro, he was Director of Internet Marketing at Taj Hotels where he led the worldwide digital strategy and ecommerce for the hotel chain for nine years.
