Ecommerce firm Yebhi.com has acquired online fashion retailer StylishYou.in for an undisclosed amount, in a cash and stock deal. The portal, which was formerly branded as BigShoeBazaar.com, has also absorbed the StylishYou.in merchandising team as a part of the transaction. Stylishyou.in was founded by Shraddha Danani in 2011, and houses exclusive brands and designer jewellery and accessories.

Catamaran, Infosys co-founder NR Narayana Murthy's $129-million venture capital fund, along with Nexus, have invested Rs 40 crore in the portal in its second round of funding. The firm, which is an online wholesaler of shoes, apparel, bags, accessories and gift items, had earlier raised Rs.10 crore from Nexus in its first round of funding.

"Jewellery eretailing as a category is very nascent category right now and we would like streamline our efforts in making it the next big thing," Manmohan Agarwal, owner, Yebhi.com has said.

"I am excited to have joined the team and I look forward to an interesting journey with the basic intent of leading the jewellery category in the country and participation across existing and new products," Danani said.
