Indian Railways launches mobile ticketing application; SMS to be used as ticket

The Indian Railways has a launched M-Ticket as a mobile phone application allowing users with an internet enabled mobile to book railway ticket through their phones. Users will need to carry the SMS that would be sent as the proof of the booking within 20 minutes of booking. Users will still need to carry a valid id proof along with the SMS for their booking to be valid.

Users will need to download the mobile ticketing application from Indian Railways’ portal IndianRailways.gov.in. Users can use their mobile phones and visit the website to register for the service. An SMS will then bring the link of the mobile ticket application on the phone. Once it is installed, one can get tickets on the phone. On completion of booking and payment formalities, an SMS containing ticket details will be sent to the user, which is referred to as the Mobile Reservation Message (MRM).

1.how do i get a mobile ticket of already booked e-ticket??
2.can i get sms mobile ticket again if that sms gets deleted or lost? how?

Well this sms system may work for indian railways but do you guys believe those illiterate will use this ticketing system.

1. Anywhere to anywhere ticket facility should be restored.
2. The maximum distance allowable for season ticket journey should be increased to 200 km.
3. Season ticket holders be allowed to travel in janshatabdi trains by paying superfast surcharge if there is vacancy

Good news to those who can enjoy this service, still India's most people don't have such Mobile ( to prevent mobile transaction and online transaction and prevent your child to use adult sites use most popular and valuable Parental Control Software). The common Indian peoples will still suffer instead of SAFAR. After all a big news.
