Nasdaq-listed Sify Technologies has roped in former Head of Mobile Sales at Yahoo India Ranjita Sehgal as the company’s National Head of Ad Sales. August 6 2012 was her first day at Sify. Ranjita Sehgal replaces erstwhile National Sales Head Preetesh Chouhan, who left Sify in July 2012 to join VDOPIA Inc as Vice President – APAC.

Ranjita Sehgal joined Yahoo India in July 2009. Prior to Yahoo India, Ranjita Sehgal was with Rediff.com as Director - Media Sales. Prior to joining Rediff.com, Sehgal was Manager, Times Multimedia at Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd, where she worked for nearly five years. She had joined Times Multimedia in November 1998. She has done her Post Graduate Diploma in Media and Marketing from Times School of Marketing Management.
