The digital innovation company, AntFarm which creates and cultivates businesses has managed to secure a Series-A funding from Bay Capital and Hausela Capital Partners. This funding will be directed at fuelling the growth of their current portfolio, growing businesses in the travel space. AntFarm plans to venture into the booming fitness, hyper-local and mobile categories.
The company was founded by Rishi Khilani after he resigned as the CEO of the Times Internet Limited and boasts of a diverse portfolio consisting of companies like Stylista, Social Plug and Teach Cast.
With a impressive track record of cultivating profitable business units in a year’s time with Stylist.com, a well known fashion brand and Fork Media, an advertising platform. Stylista collaborated with online fashion brand Myntra.com and Flipkart in order to deliver affordable fashion to the new age shoppers. And Fork media, with its recent acquisition of ClickZoot, has emerged as a one-stop destination for advertisers to reach over 80 million users.
With its recent venture in the travel discovery platform through Arrive.com, AntFarm is close to rolling out a mobile app targeting the East Asian market.
