Rishi Khiani joins Times Internet (Indiatimes) as CEO

Times Internet Ltd, which owns Indiatimes.com and is a subsidiary of Bennett Coleman & Co Ltd (Times of India group), has appointed Rishi Khiani as chief executive officer. Prior to joining Times Internet, Khiani was chief operating officer at Web18.

Khiani had joined Web18 after he had sold his web design and technology firm UrbanEye to Network18 in 2006. In his new role as CEO of Times Internet, Khiani will report to Vineet Jain, chairman, TIL, and managing director, BCCL. He will be based in Gurgaon, near Delhi.

“I am pleased to announce that Rishi Khiani has joined the company as chief executive officer,” Vineet Jain has said, adding, “I also take this opportunity to thank Sunil Rajshekhar, president and chief operating officer, TIL, for holding interim charge.”
