Papam.in enables users to send personalized paper greeting cards
Noida-based startup Pcmbplus Technologies has launched Papam.in, a web platform that allows users to send personalized paper greeting cards, corporate certificates and customized invitation cards at the doorsteps of the recipient.
According to Pcmbplus, Papam.in aims to ease out the entire process of sending greeting cards using a web interface. “Many corporate networks treat e-cards as spam and don't allow them. Lack of touch and feel also has added to their decreasing popularity. In US people sent 6.4 billion paper cards in comparison to only 300 million e-cards in 2006,†the company has said.
“We wanted to make the process of sending the greeting cards, seamless and hassle free. Maximum times either we forget the birthday or anniversary or just avoid the pain of the entire process of purchasing and posting the cards to our loved ones. So we designed this platform keeping in view of the need of general users,†Paras Arora, co-founder and director, Papam.in, has said.
Pcmbplus Technologies currently has a team of 13 people. The company has secured an angel funding for their initial operations. “Other funding proposals are also coming to us. Being a zero inventory company, we don't need much funds. The order goes for printing only after the payment is made,†Manish Pathak, co-founder and strategist, Papam, has added.
