Deven Dharamdasani who was the Business Head of Blazar and Co-founder of Quasar Media, has been backed by Manish Vij’s Vun Network and Harish Bahl's Smile Group to launch SeventyNine, a Mobile Media Distribution and Analytics platform that rolls into existence on Mar 1, 2012. Deven quit Quasar in January 2012.
According to the founders, SeventyNine is a cross-platform Pay-for-Performance mobile network that offers a platform to enable app downloads and provides higher reach and visibility to brands, also soon bringing new media advertising formats on mobile. For publishers SeventyNine rakes up high performance advertising slots to increase monetization. Advertisers and publishers will also be able to expend an all-inclusive free-to-use Analytics right out of the box.
“New forms of media are transforming the way advertising works. With growing consumer expectations, this shift was always on the cards. In this highly engaging ecosystem, no abiding channel holds more potential than the humble yet powerful mobile device” said Deven Dharamdasani, Co-Founder and COO of SeventyNine.
Manish Vij, Founding Director of SeventyNine adds “The era of advertising is transforming at a vivacious pace. Traditional advertising channels are being now replaced by new media formats that exhume content in multiple ways. There is a paradigm shift in channelizing and levelling market and brand imagery to consumers which has greatly improved over the last few years in digital media.”
