Performance marketing company Shoogloo Affiliate Marketing has rebranded as TrooTrac Media Pvt. Ltd. The change in name reflects the company’s identity. Following this, TrooTrac would be introducing a number of additional services focused towards growing customer acquisition among the growing ecommerce market in India.
Sajal Gupta, CEO, TrooTrac, commenting on the rebranding, said, “We want to build a brand that accurately describes what we do. The ‘troo’ in our name stands for reliability and our ethical approach to business, while “trac” represents the most essential component of affiliate marketing.”
Shoogloo Network (now TrooTrac), was founded in 2008 by LD Sharma and was powered by UK’s Online Media Group (OMG). In February 2012, OMG, which had opened an office in India in February 2011, had appointment of LD Sharma as Group Consultant. Shoogloo had two businesses – Shoogloo Affiliate marketing and Shoogloo Online Marketing. Mahendra Swarup and his investment group holds a majority stake in the affiliate marketing company along with LD Sharma. The company claims to have served over 100 advertisers through its network of 6000+ publishers, delivering 100,000 transactions on a month on month.
