OTT Platform on the anvil; says Uttam Pal Singh of Discovery Kids

Discovery Kids, the children`s channel from Discovery Communications India is planning to launch its own OTT platform.

At the launch ceremony of Discovery Kids`s new show ‘Little Singham’ , Uttam Pal Singh – Head of Discovery Kids said Discovery Channel is planning to launch an OTT platform to have stronger presence of TV content on  the digital platforms.

He said, “ Discovery Kids is also in plans to launch its own OTT app, which will have a lot of content along with ‘Little Singham’ which will also be available on the app.”

The network has also partnered with Netflix for the digital distribution of the series.
