Online aggregator of car rentals, OlaCabs has doubled its capacity by adding more than 500 cabs in Delhi-NCR since its launch in November 2012. The startup claimed that for the past six months Delhi/ NCR has been Ola’s fastest growing market. The company has also introduced 10 per cent off on all bookings made from mobile in Delhi NCR.
With the latest round of expansion, the total number of cabs on Ola’s platform is now close to the 5,000 mark across Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore and Pune.

The company stated a significant traction in Delhi comes from its Airport399 and Gurgaon10 offers. Using Airport399, commuters from can book an air-conditioned sedan from Indira Gandhi International Airport at a flat rate of Rs. 399 to any place in Delhi/Gurgaon, (excluding East Delhi and Noida). While Gurgaon10 enables commuters to travel at a flat rate of Rs. 10 per km. within Gurgaon.
Currently, OlaCabs claims to have tied-up with over 1500 operators across Delhi/ NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore and has also successfully partnered with OTAs like GoIbibo, MakeMyTrip, ClearTrip and Via. The company has set a revenue run rate of $100 million for FY2014.
Founded in January 2011 by two IIT Bombay alumni Bhavish Aggarwal and Ankit Bhati, Olacabs operates in competitive online car rental space with players like Easy Cabs, Meru Cabs, Yatri Cabs, Mega Cabs among others.
