And he’s back. Rahul Yadav, the former CEO of Housing.com, who was sacked from his position recently, has now announced his plans to start afresh by launching his own venture, reports Business Today.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday Yadav said,
"If the path is smooth, dig your own holes. If no challenges, create them on your own. Just for the sake of practice. Just to push yourself to the extreme. Just to become stronger. Just to make things interesting. Just to make things fun. I'll be back…this time with 100x…. [10x of last formula (10x)]
30 days to go.
Is the world ready?"
The post indicates that Yadav is planning to launch his venture within a month's time.
Over the past several months, Yadav has been constantly making headlines with his erratic and unpredictable behaviour.
On July 1, Housing.com's board sacked Yadav for his behaviour with the investors and media. "The board believes his behaviour is not befitting of a CEO and is detrimental to the company, known for its innovative approach to product development, market expansion and brand building," the company had said.
Yadav has also managed to earn quite a reputation for himself for being involved in quite a few public spats with industry colleagues, the media and even the investors and board of directors of his own company. These inlcude the much famous spats with Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal and Ola cabs CEO Bhavish Aggarwal which caused much buzz on the Internet.
After Yadav's public firing, Goyal even tweeted that it felt like reality entertainment show Bigg Boss season had just ended. Most recently, Yadav had even taken a shot at Infosys CEO Vishal Sikka by posting a picture of him sleeping at an airport lounge.
Now, the important question is, whether we will see a mature and focused Yadav back in his game or will the ‘verbal-wars’ continue? Looks like we will just have to wait and see which way the cat jumps.
