Dentsu Asia Pacific CEO Rohit Ohri quits, may soon be joining FCB Ulka

Rohit Ohri, CEO of Dentsu Asia Pacific (excluding Japan), is reportedly exiting the agency after a four year stint. In June 2015, Ohri had relocated to Singapore to take on the role, after heading the India operations. 

Former Dentsu India CEO Rohit Ohri is reportedly set to join FCB Ulka. According to dna report, the announcement of Ohri taking charge at the Mumbai-based agency network will be made soon. 

Ohri, who, had been moved to the role of CEO, Denstu Asia Pacific (excluding Japan) in June, was earlier Executive Chairman, Dentsu India and CEO, Dentsu Asia Pacific (South).

Meanwhile, Dentsu Aegis Network has issued an official statement confirming the news of Ohri moving on. "Rohit Ohri CEO Dentsu Asia Pacific (ex Japan) has resigned after four years at the company. He has made a great contribution and we thank him for that. New leadership of Dentsu brands in Asia Pacific will be announced in due course,” informed a Dentsu statement.

Ohri moved to head Dentsu India in mid-2011 after 21 years of working at JWT India. He moved out as senior vice president and managing partner of agency's Delhi office.
