Mission | The Largest Online Hypermarket for daily household needs |
Overview |
Our vision is to help people save time with the hope that they can spend this ‘saved time’ on something more meaningful. A lighter version of our belief is to “Be Lazy, Buy Easy”. As a starting point for this vision we plan to achieve our first mission of delivering daily needs items at your doorstep in less than 3 hours. We propose to build the most customer centric company that will leverage the hybrid model of online, call center, mobile application and physical touch. Our winning mantra would be to deliver great customer experience by providing our consumers with a convenient way to shop and in the process cut down the time she spends at the checkout counter, traffic and parking. In addition, we plan to address the selection and availability of products by having broad relationship with extensive set of vendors. We believe that without a formal physical store and a warehouse in remote part of city would help cut down our operational cost. Our entry point for this business will be with daily needs (non-perishable) and will expand to other categories over a period of time. We plan to start with two major cities as our belief is that there are opportunities to delight customers, especially in metros for this segment. Our belief to start with grocery is supported by the fact that 'daily needs' purchase is still a long process and there exists significant scopes to cut down the pain-point of consumer standing in long queue. An average consumer making 5 trips to the store per month ends up spending around 10 hours of shopping time; a majority of which is spent in the checkout counters. Our belief is that by providing an easy and fast mechanism to purchase product online, via mobile application and call center will address the convenience problem for our consumers. We would also delight the consumer by delivering items in less than three hours (or their defined convenient time) and at a price cheaper than MRP. We plan to support cash on delivery and accept Sodexho/Ticket Restaurant vouchers. We are confident that with these mechanisms, we would delight our consumers and in turn expect a higher repeat purchase. |
