Mobile media company ValueFirst has acquired Hyderabad-based Way2Online Interactive India Private Limited, which owns and operates Way2sms.com and 160by2.com - in an all cash deal. In January 2012, Way2Online had acquired 160by2.com, a P2P messaging portal based out of Hyderabad with 13 million registered users.
With this acquisition, ValueFirst will cross 50 million profiled registered users, add 40,000 fresh registrations daily and get to 250 crores of revenue this financial year Post-acquisition, ValueFirst can operate across multiple platforms – Internet, voice, SMS and email.
