Senior journalist Shutapa Paul has been appointed Editor-in-Chief, Newsd, a growing new age mobile-based information, curation and dissemination platform, Exchange4media has reported.

Paul is a seasoned journalist with over a decade of experience and has worked across various mediums such as television, newspapers and magazines. She has covered politics, economy and current affairs and has worked for well-known brands such as Forbes India, NDTV, NewsX, India Today and The Week.

Commenting on her new role, Paul says, “Digital media is reshaping journalism and the media space as a whole. As more and more people move onto consuming news and entertainment through their smartphones, this space will only grow bigger. I am very excited to be foraying into this space with Newsd, which is an expanding digital platform that has path breaking plans for the media space.
