Owned and operated by Mumbai-based Locon Solutions Pvt Ltd, real estate portal, Housing.co.in has reached operational break-even in Mumbai and has announced expansion to the cities Pune, Gurgaon and Hyderabad, said Advitiya Sharma, Co-Founder of the venture.

Talking about the three cities and what opportunities they hold for Housing, Advitiya said “All three cities are rising to a metropolitan reality. A lot of professionals and job seekers are shifting base here. There will be a great surge of demand for residential options. Housing has a unique ‘Nearby’ search-bar enable users to look for their next home near their workplace or any other favoured destination. Our portal is streamlined to meet the customer needs in the growing cities of Gurgaon, Hyderabad and Pune.”

The company has also launched app on Android and iOS platforms enabling users to search for homes on the go. Housing aims to have a strong presence in mobile, adds Advitiya.

Speaking on the increased VC interest in the venture, Advitiya further informs “We have received a few in-bound requests from Indian and foreign VC’s but we are waiting for the right partner who will match our core belief of "Speed".”

The company’s focus continues to be growth and consolidation of their presence in all four existing cities of their operation.
