Vdopia claims to have witnessed 380% growth in 2Q 2010 revenue

Video advertising network Vdopia claims to have become profitable and experienced a record 380 per cent growth in revenue in the second quarter ended September 30, 2010, as compared to the June 30, 2010 ended quarter. For the second quarter of the previous fiscal year, Vdopia had recorded a quarter on quarter growth of 200 per cent in revenue.

Video advertising network Vdopia claims to have become profitable and experienced a record 380 per cent growth in revenue in the second quarter ended September 30, 2010, as compared to the June 30, 2010 ended quarter. For the second quarter of the previous fiscal year, Vdopia had recorded a quarter on quarter growth of 200 per cent in revenue.

Vdopia also claims to lead the online video advertising industry with 80 per cent market share. According to Vdopia, the company has powered multiple-campaigns for over 300 brand advertisers and serves over 100 million video impressions every quarter; reaching over 10 million unique users across 120 publishers on an exclusive basis.

Launched in 2009, Vdopia’s ad network currently includes publishers like NDTV, MSN, Web18 Group, India Today Group, Sify, BollywoodHungama, DailyMotion.com, ESPN, Zee Group, CricketNirvana, Metacafe and MochiMedia.

Debadutta Upadhyaya, VP, Vdopia India, has said, “Vdopia is all about creating extensive user-engaging video experiences and offering a unique branding platform to advertisers with our rich video ad formats. vLive, our dynamic online live streaming ad insertion technology platform, is one such video innovation that has enabled media companies to live stream and monetize their content.”

With its three offices in India and a global team of 50 employees, Vdopia expects to aggressively expand in the coming months. The company has charted out plans to add new office locations, recruit more staff and expand business to the Far East and APAC regions.
