Times Business Solutions’ job portal TimesJobs.com has launched DialBPOJobs, a toll-free interactive voice response (IVR) service available 24×7 at 1800-3000-3003 that allows BPO job aspirants to register, record a voice clip, start getting responses, schedule interviews and automatically go through the preliminary screening process from the comfort of their mobile phones.

According to TimesJobs.com, the DialBPOJobs service provides a comprehensive solution to fulfil talent demand from the BPO (business process outsourcing) industry. It serves both as a preliminary screening to check grammar and pronunciation, as well as, a method to judge the applicants’ affinity and familiarity with language and technology in general and voice-based processes in particular.

R Sundar, CEO, Times Business Solutions, has said, “The mobile phone has become an integral extension of today’s youth, and, with the response TimesJobs.com received in the beta launch, candidates also seem to be finding this new model to be easier to use, allowing them access to a greater range of jobs faster and more effectively.”

TimesJobs.com claims to have already attracted over 600 recruiting clients from the BPO industry including Aditya Birla Minacs, Dell, Amazon, Deloitte, HCL, EXL, Cognizant, Convergys, IBM, Accenture, Unisys and Wipro for its DialBPOJobs service.

Paneesh Rao, chief people officer, Aditya Birla Minacs, has said, “DialBPOJobs has ensured that Minac’s recruiters contact the right profiles as the candidates are filtered appropriately according to their skill sets. Additionally, it has helped in increasing the number of contacts we make on a daily basis, as well as the voice element in the profiles enables us to evaluate the communication skills of the candidates. Overall, not only has this increased our recruiter’s productivity by 25-30 per cent, but it will also go a long way in reducing our cost per hire.”
