Internet’s plans to launch SatvikShop.com as an ecommerce shop of organic and
ayurvedic solutions and products from reputed brands. The company has launched the
website and already claims to have completed 100 transactions. The site claims
to have around 1,000 SKUs but has not yet started cross promoting these on
Indiatimes Shopping, which the company says, will do at a later stage.

Speaking to India Digital Review, Subhanker
Sarker, Business Head, COO and Satvikshop.com and Indiatimes Shopping, said that the
website expects to earn revenue of Rs 60 crore this fiscal and move this up to
Rs 160 crore next fiscal. The business also anticipates becoming profitable in 12
months.

Consumers can view and buy Ayurvedic
products by browsing through various categories, including gender, diseases,
organ care, and common ailments. The website also offers free consultation with
a panel of experts who can best advise you about treatments for various
ailments. Consumers can post their questions online and receive answers from
the experts. A full-fledged call center guides consumers on a 24/7 basis.

Speaking about the free consultation
service provided by the website, Sarker informed that the company has 20
full-time certified Ayurvedic doctors as consultants and plans to increase the
number in the near future.

“It is our endeavor to promote Satvik
living – free of chemicals, pesticides and pollutants that have entered our
lives without us noticing. With reputed partners such as Dabur, Organic India, Morrarka
Organic Foods, we are confident of reversing this trend and bringing a healthy
lifestyle to our consumers. Pre launch consumer engagement has been very
encouraging and we already have a Facebook community which is 15,000 strong,”
added Sarker.

Divulging plans, Subhanker Sarker said that the
website would be cross promoted across all Times Internet properties, mainly on
SpeakingTree.in, whose audience are quite similar to that of SatvikShop.
