TBWA India’s interactive agency Tequila hopes to grow by 200%

TBWA India, a part of the global advertising, marketing and corporate communications conglomerate Omnicom Group, has said the growth of its interactive agency Tequila India is high on the agenda for 2008.

TBWA India, a part of the global advertising, marketing and corporate communications conglomerate Omnicom Group, has said the growth of its interactive agency Tequila India is high on the agenda for 2008.

“Tequila has grown by 150 per cent in the first year, and we are looking at growing it by another 200 per cent in the second year. We are beefing up the team and we are looking at a complete restructuring for the agency,” George John, chairman and managing director, TBWA India, has been quoted by exchange4media as saying.

According to George John, TBWA India is also looking at making Tequila’s presence across the markets of Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai. Launched in December 2006, Tequila India is currently operational in Bangalore.
