According to Tata Teleservices, Dialog, along with the company’s internet access product Photon Whiz, will be available for Rs 6,699, while Dialog and Photon Plus are priced at Rs 7,699. Additional accessories like a USB mouse, keyboard and USB-based external storage device can be purchased separately.

“Our target customers are the ones which own a TV set but cannot afford a computer or a laptop,” Abhijit Sanyal, national sales head, Tata Teleservices, has said. Computer penetration in the country is just at 8-10 per cent, whereas TV penetration is 80 per cent, so the company is aiming to cater to the internet needs of this wide section of people, reports Financial Express.
