Tanishq asks women ‘What makes you blush?’ through a digital campaign

Tanishq, the jewellery brand from Titan Industries, has launched a digital campaign to promote its new ‘Blush Collection’. The campaign is launched as a microsite where the users are asked to sign in using their Facebook account, further to which they get access to interesting functions that are made purely for the women audience.

Tanishq, the jewellery brand from Titan Industries, has launched a digital campaign to promote its new ‘Blush Collection’. The campaign is launched as a microsite where the users are asked to sign in using their Facebook account, further to which they get access to interesting functions that are made purely for the women audience.

Targeted at the new age women, the campaign makes users ‘blush’ on Facebook. It is a browser plug-in that creates a Blush button on the user’s Facebook page and thus the user can not just comment or share, but can blush whenever her status messages get any comment. The user can ‘like’ her favourite jewellery, recommend it to her friends and even buy her favourite Blush jewellery online.

Launched on 7th January 2011, the campaign has already attracted over 10,000 fans on the Tanishq Facebook page and over 200 people have installed the browser plug-ins. According to Tanishq, its products have been shared over 3,000 times on Facebook. The campaign has been designed and executed by digital agency Interactive Avenues.

Speaking about the campaign, Sandeep Kulhalli, vice president, retail and marketing, Tanishq, told AlooTechie, “It is about the product and how Tanishq’s endeavour is to keep up with the changing jewellery tastes of the Indian woman. Tanishq loves blushing and hopes that it gets such response from the users in the future as well.”
