“Relying on our own experience that cricket is best enjoyed with friends, we ensured that Soch.la’s foundation was based on its user’s ability to connect and communicate with their friends. Interestingly, the conversations on Soch.la are live even before the match begins and after the match is over. Users on Soch.la are amazed to see the speed of the score update. We have always believed in creating something which is useful for us first and then making it available to others. This time, we got a reason to fulfill our passion for Cricket through Soch.la,” Pradeep Chopra, co-founder, Soch.la has told AlooTechie.

The website plans to earn revenues through advertisements. Besides this, there are plans around introducing social gaming with virtual currency facility that provides another revenue stream. The company is also in talks with potential investors for scaling this venture. “In future we want to scale it beyond cricket and make it a platform for sports conversations. We might also look at broadening the horizon beyond sports,” added Chopra.
