Seedfund may invest in online ventures Mudranik, UniApply

Seedfund, an early-stage venture capital fund, is considering to invest in Mudranik and UniApply, two online ventures planned by IIM Calcutta students.

While Mudranik would seek to enable users design their books and sell them online, UniApply would aim to provide information on colleges and courses available across India to students through its planned education portal.

The business plans for Mudranik and UniApply were judged as the winners of i2I 2008, the annual B-plan showcase organized by Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta. Seedfund is also in talks with a third finalist in the travel media space, reports LiveMint.
