PubMatic MediaKit to help Web publishers sell ad space directly to advertisers

Ad network aggregator company PubMatic has launched PubMatic MediaKit that enables website publishers to create a customized media kit that would help them sell advertising space on their websites by giving potential advertisers all the information they need.

Putting together a media kit is the first step to selling ads directly to advertisers, without sharing revenue with ad networks, but many websites don’t have one readily available, the company has said.

With PubMatic MediaKit, website publishers can create a customized media kit that would show who visits the website, what ad placements are available on the site, how much a web publisher would charge from advertisers for a specific property and the website contact details.

PubMatic MediaKit also allows publishers to create a widget they can embed on their websites and a PDF to send to prospective advertisers. The MediaKit also shows advertisers the relevant stats from Alexa, Compete and Quantcast to help them decide if they would like to buy high value advertising directly on a website.
