PayTM.com claims to generate Rs 106.19 average revenue per user

PayTM.com, an online mobile recharge platform from One97
Communications has come up with an analysis on usage profile of our users. According
to the analysis, the overall average revenue per user (ARPU) generated on PayTM
is Rs 106.19. Top five operators with highest ARPU are Reliance CDMA with Rs 132.6,
BSNL with Rs 124.2, Vodafone with Rs 120.9, Idea with Rs 108.4 and Tata Indicom

to the analysis, the overall average revenue per user (ARPU) generated on PayTM
is Rs 106.19. Top five operators with highest ARPU are Reliance CDMA with Rs 132.6,
BSNL with Rs 124.2, Vodafone with Rs 120.9, Idea with Rs 108.4 and Tata Indicom
with Rs 105.8. The top five regions with highest ARPU are Gujarat with Rs 127.9,
Delhi NCR with Rs 126.6, Karnataka with Rs 123.5, Haryana with Rs 118.9 and
Kerala with Rs 114.8. PayTM was launched on 2009.

According to the analysis, percentages of transactions drop
sharply in Mumbai and Delhi NCR towards weekend. Where as in UP and Uttaranchal,
number of transactions rise towards the weekend. “This aberration can be
attributed to the fact that there is more weekend culture in metros as compared
to UP and Uttaranchal,” the analysis quoted.

Customers of PayTM.com are using more debit
cards, however, the share of net banking has increased indicating the high
success rate of net banking in online transactions. The peak traffic is between
10:00 AM to 1:59 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:59 PM. Transactions reach their minimum at
4:00 AM in the morning.
