Online B2B pharma marketplace IndianPharma.in eyes revenues of Rs 25 lakh in fiscal 2012

marketplace aimed at offering the Indian pharma industry a platform to promote
their products and services. Launched in October 2008, the website claims to
have around 5000 registered members which include suppliers as well as buyers
and gets more than 500 new business enquiries coming every month for various products
listed. The company is also expecting revenue of more than Rs 25 lakh this
fiscal.

IndianPharma.in
earns its revenues from membership fees as well as online advertisements. The
website gets around 4 lakh hits every month, out of which, 70 per cent come
from India and the rest coming from overseas. Most of the sellers listed on the
portal are from India, whereas, buyers come from more than 30 countries
worldwide.

“The main
objective was to bring entire pharma industry under one platform and promote
their business.  Pharma Business is highly
respected and requires a lot of patience as well money.  Hence, I feel that all Industry B2B portal
are not able to cover pharma industry in a way, it deserves to be.  Hence, keeping all this in mind, we started
this portal,” Manoj Sarda, CEO, IndianPharma.in has told AlooTechie.

The portal is also marketing its services in
various pharma magazines such as ExpressPharma as well as PharmaBiz.  “We are also in contact with various Indian
embassies in various countries that pass on enquiries to us. Most of our
Premium Members are satisfied and renewed their services with us.” added Sarda.
