Nimbus partners with Vdopia to monetise live streaming on its cricket portal

Nimbus Communication, which owns media rights for all international and domestic cricket controlled by BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and to be played in India till March 31, 2010, has partnered with online and mobile video advertising network Vdopia to monetise its cricket live streaming portal CricketNirvana.com.

“Vdopia ads are complimenting the TV campaigns and are now a must buy for marketers. We provide brands a unique opportunity to leverage the biggest online video platform right now and take advantage of the ongoing cricket fever,” Sumit Luthra, vice president, new media, Nimbus Communications, has said.

“Through this tie up, we are looking forward to provide brand advertisers unique opportunity to reach the cricket crazy online audience,” Saurabh Bhatia, chief business officer, Vdopia, has said. “We have seen huge traction and great response from viewers as well as advertisers during the India–Australia ODI (one day international) series. We believe live streaming of premium content on the internet is the growth forward.”
