Mumbai-based venture firm Nexus India Capital has closed its second fund of $220 million (about Rs 960 crore), more than double its first fund of $100 million. Nexus India’s first fund has been deployed across 13 companies including DimDim, Games2Win, Komli, Kirusa, MapmyIndia and Mobile2Win.

Nexus plans to continue to invest in sub-$10 million early-stage deals in consumer and business services, media and clean technology.
