Naaptol launches Naaptol Club as a private sales website for fashion brands

Naaptol.com has launched Naaptol Club as a private sales
model of luxury and fashion brands providing up to 80 per cent discounts on
those items. The website houses apparels, accessories and home décor products
from top notch brands and provides multiple payment modes including cash on
delivery.

Manu Agarwal, founder and CEO, Naaptol.com said, “We are
glad to extend yet another wing to our online home shopping platform. With
evolving online shopping culture in the country, the development of this
vertical was a requisite. We plan on enhancing the platform depending on our
customers’ regular requirements and feedback.”

Naaptol, a virtual-commerce home shopping platform claims to
currently process around 6,000 orders a day at an average price of 3,000 per
transaction. In August 2010, NaapTol had closed Series-A round of venture
capital funding from Canaan Partners. The deal size was not disclosed but
according to financial advisory firm Centrum Capital, which had advised on the
deal, Canaan has invested Rs 33 crore in NaapTol which includes acquisition of
shares held by Bennett Coleman (The Times of India group).
