Mudra Connext bags media mandate of Travelguru; Account size pegged at Rs 10 crore

Travelguru.com, a leading hotel and air ticket booking website owned by Travelocity, has assigned its media mandate to Mudra Connext, a unit of Mudra MAX (Integrated Communications Planning and Implementation). The account size is estimated at upwards of Rs 10 crore.

Travelguru.com claims to offer access to more than 4,000 hotels across 350 cities in India and over 72,000 hotels worldwide. According to Travelguru, the website offers travellers the opportunity to plan and purchase their travel in a transparent, easy and customizable manner with instant bookings and confirmations.

Manas Mishra, EVP and country head, Mudra Connext, has said, “It is an exciting category. Building awareness and identity for Travelguru, a hotels and resorts portal would be a major task. We need to create a distinct identity for the brand as all travel portals are often dedicated to flight bookings.”
