Microsoft India’s horizontal portal MSNIndia.com has partnered with India’s Got Talent Khoj II, the reality show from Colors TV, to launch MSNIndia.com/IGT, a microsite that would provide users an opportunity to vote their favourite contestants and win tickets to watch the programme’s final at Mumbai. Apart from the voting contest, the microsite also offers videos, episodes, clips, judges’ profiles, IGT TV schedules and exclusive clips from the previous season.
According to MSN India, the voter whose choice of finalists matches with that of the expert celebrity judges — Kirron Kher, Sonali Bendre and Sajid Khan — would get two tickets to the Grand Finale of India’s Got Talent II in Mumbai. Users can choose their favourites once every day and make their vote count. The microsite has already got 50,000 unique users, more than 300,000 page views and around 200,000 video views.
“India’s Got Talent is definitely one of the most interactive entertainment platforms. The tremendous potential and talent of our immense population is the strength of our country and IGT showcases that in the most entertaining way. We wanted to give our online consumers an opportunity to experience the buzz and excitement in the online space on MSN India. We also wanted to create as much consumer relevance and interactivity as possible with this campaign,†Sanjay Trehan, head, MSN India, has told AlooTechie.
Sanjay Trehan further said that consumers are MSN’s top priority and hence the company is offering consumers an opportunity to view the exciting parts of IGT at their own time, test their judging skills against the celebrity judges and win the contest and some cool IGT merchandise.
