MeriCar.com receives seed funding from MyFirstCheque

Seed fund firm MyFirstCheque has made their debut investment on Gurgaon based online car servicing booking website MeriCar.com. Though the amount of investment was not disclosed, MerCar.com said that the funds will be used to grow the team and expand the network across India.

Though the amount of investment was not disclosed, MerCar.com said that the funds will be used to grow the team and expand the network across India. According to a VCCircle report, MyFirstCheque typically looks at an average investment of Rs 20 lakh in a startup and the fund is eyeing an equity stake between 15 to 25 per cent in its portfolio firms.

MeriCar.com aims to help car owners search the neighbourhood car service centre, connect to the right car workshop and save on car servicing bill. Rakesh K Sidana, chief executive officer, MeriCAR.com said, “We are happy that My First Cheque recognised the potential of our idea and has taken the leap with us. With this investment, we look forward to strengthening our team and expanding our network further across the country and servicing a larger base of car users.”
