McDonald’s may soon start taking order for meals online

Burger giant McDonald’s is all set to launch its web-based home delivery of meals service in March 2010 across 75 McDelivery cities in India. The company has already launched a pilot project in Hyderabad and is satisfied with the response. McDonald’s India expects the web-based delivery service to add 5 per cent to its sales.

McDonald’s had first launched its home delivery service in 2004 in Mumbai and now wants to take it to the next level. “It’s an important strategy for us.
