Maxus wins media mandate of McCain Food India

Following
the multi-agency pitch in Delhi, GroupM owned media agency Maxus has won the media
duties of McCain Foods India. The incumbent agency on the account is Madison
Media which won the media duties of the brand in 2013, reports afaqs.

the multi-agency pitch in Delhi, GroupM owned media agency Maxus has won the media
duties of McCain Foods India. The incumbent agency on the account is Madison
Media which won the media duties of the brand in 2013, reports afaqs.

It was mandated to take
care of traditional media buying and planning for McCain, the Indian subsidiary
of McCain Foods Canada, it also looked after digital, display, social, video
and mobile platforms for the brand. Prior to Madison, Zenith Optimedia was
handling media duties for the brand.

Meanwhile,
L&K Saatchi & Saatchi, which also won the account in 2013, is the
creative agency for the brand. The account is handled by agency’s Delhi office.
The brand’s creative duties were earlier with Leo Burnett.

McCain
Foods introduced its first brand ambassador Karishma Kapoor back in 2012 in a
campaign with the tagline was ‘Jhatse banao, kuch tasty khao’.

McCain
Foods offers a variety of frozen products such as French Fries, super wedges,
smiles, rosti rounds; Indian ethnic specialties, veggie nuggets, veggie burger
patties and imported cheese appetisers such as cheese and jalapeno nuggets,
macaroni ‘n’ cheese munchies and mozzarella cheese sticks. McCain Foods is
headquartered in Toronto, Canada.
