Maruti Suzuki gives digital mandate to DAN

Maruti Suzuki has given Dentsu Aegis Network the digital
duties for all its non-NEXA brands. The account will be jointly handled by
Dentsu Creative Impact and Isobar from New Delhi, reports
Adage.

The account would have both creative as well as media duties
and account size is expected to be upwards of Rs 50 crore.

Dentsu Creative Impact has been associated with Maruti
Suzuki since 2007. It currently handles the offline duties for several brands
from Maruti’s portfolio including Swift, Swift Dzire, Alto 800, Alto K10,
Celerio, Ertiga, Omni, Ritz, EECO, Wagon R and Stingray. So, the brand is keen
on having an integrated approach to its marketing activities, as per Adage
report.

Earlier the digital mandate was with Razorfish India. Prior
to that the brand was handled by Digitas which came on board in 2013 and
responsibilities included  media planning
and buying, along with SEM (search engine marketing) and SEO (search engine
optimisation) and Social Media. Digitas had taken over the duties from Ignitee.

Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL, formerly Maruti Udyog) is a
subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation of Japan. The company offers a range of
car brands including Maruti 800, Alto, A-star, Estilo, WagonR, Ritz, Swift,
SX4, Omni, Eeco, Kizashi, Grand Vitara, Gypsy and Ertiga, among several others.
