MakeMyTrip records net profit of $4.8mn for FY11

The NASDAQ-listed online travel agency MakeMyTrip.com has recorded
a profit of $4.8 million for March 31, 2011 (FY11) versus a loss of $6.2
million in March 31, 2010 (FY10). Revenues grew by 49.3 per cent to $124.7

million in the year. Gross bookings for air ticketing and hotels and packages
combined increased by 59.4 per cent to $742.5 million for FY11. The number of transactions
for air ticketing and hotels and packages increased 59.9 per cent for FY11 and adjusted
net income for the period grew to $5.1 million, up from $1.4 million in FY10.
