LinkedIn reaches 100 million members worldwide; 9 million in India

Professional networking website LinkedIn has touched 100 million members all over the world. According to the company, the website gets one million new members every week and the equivalent of a professional joining the site is faster than one member per second. LinkedIn is currently used in over 200 countries and territories around the world and more than half of the total users come from outside of the US. In India, LinkedIn has hit 9 million users as of March 2011.
