Komli partners US-based EfficientFrontier to launch search marketing services in India

Digital advertising network Komli Media has inked an exclusive partnership with US-based performance marketing company EfficientFrontier to launch search engine marketing services in India. According to the company, with this revenue share partnership, Komli Media will become the only digital media network in India to offer solutions across search, display, mobile, video and social media.

Speaking to AlooTechie on this, Prashant Mehta, CEO, Komli Media, said, “Search comprises of 50 to 55 per cent of India’s online business and that was one big component that we were not doing. For a lot of ecommerce and finance companies, search is not only a marketing tool but is actually a sales channel. With this we will be providing more relevant advertising solutions to our Indian clients.”

According to Mehta, Komli will be strengthening their sales marketing team with new recruits and the services will be launched in India in May 2011. “After we see success in the Indian market, we will be venturing to Komli’s foreign markets as well,” Prashant Mehta added. In January 2011, Komli Media had raised $15 million from Norwest Venture Partners, Nexus Venture Partners and Helion Venture Partners and the company had planned to expand the services of its ad network. Komli gets 45 million unique users across geographies working with more than 20,000 publishers.
