Jeevansathi.com bags Silver at Exchange4media Radio Advertising Awards

Info Edge India’s matrimonial portal Jeevansathi.com has bagged a Silver award under the Best Brand Integration on Radio (Corporate) category at the first ever Exchange4media Radio Advertising Awards for its radio campaign ‘In Sawalon Se Mujhe Bachao’. The campaign was awarded for its effective integration of the Jeevansathi brand with the content on radio to keep the listeners engaged.

The campaign was awarded for its effective integration of the Jeevansathi brand with the content on radio to keep the listeners engaged.

Sumeet Singh, senior vice president, marketing and communication, Info Edge India, has said, “Our idea was to provide a platform to potential brides and grooms and recently married couples, to share their experiences of being unnecessarily grilled during the process of getting married; and at the same time, promote our website as an alternative, which saves one from such embarrassments.”

The ‘In Sawalon Se Mujhe Bachao’ contest was launched in January 2010 as an attempt to directly connect with the target audiences. The contest invited listeners to share the most bizarre matrimonial questions which they have ever come across during their matrimonial search processes. The contest was run both on radio and on the Jeevansathi.com site.
