Jagran Prakashan posted Rs 8.24 cr of revenues from its digital business in FY11

Jagran Prakashan, publishers of Dainik Jagran and Mid-Day, saw
its digital revenues rise by 169 per cent to Rs 8.24 crore the year ended March
2011, compared to Rs 3.06 crore recorded on fiscal 2010. “Our focus on digital
business continued without going overboard and we added a number of offerings,”
Mahendra Mohan Gupta, chairman and managing director, Jagran Prakashan has
said.

In the year, the group launched online
properties like Onlymyhealth.com, Jagranjosh.com, Videos.Jagran.com, JagranJunction.com
and Jeetle.in. Jagran’s digital division MMI Online runs Jagran.com,
In.Jagran.Yahoo.com, iNext.com and classifieds site Khojle.in.
