Mobile video advertising network iVdopia has won 2010 Red Herring 100 North America award, which recognizes the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the North American business region. According to Red Herring, its editorial staff evaluated the companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technology innovation, management quality, strategy, and market penetration.

“Choosing the companies with the strongest potential was by no means a small feat,” Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO, Red Herring, has said. “After rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the Top 100 Winners. We believe iVdopia embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture.”

“This is a great honour for iVdopia, which was chosen from a pool of so many worthy candidates,” Chhavi Upadhyay, chief operating officer, iVdopia, has said. “Though this award is an acknowledgement of the innovation that has become synonymous with iVdopia, we would like to think of this recognition as a vote of confidence for the new breakthroughs that you can expect from us.”
