ITExaminer.com launched to give an Indian perspective on global computing news

Mike Magee, co-founder of technology news site The Register, has hired four Indian journalists to work on his new website ITExaminer.com. “I have a mixture of experienced people and new kids. I’m going to hire two or three more,” Mike Magee has said.

ITExaminer.com is backed by a Chinese company called Metaplume and aims to capitalise on the growing importance of India in the IT industry, and give an Indian perspective on global computing news.

IT Examiner is the third online launch from Mike Magee, the technology reporter turned web entrepreneur who left The Register in 2001 to set up a rival site, The Inquirer, which was then sold to Computing publisher VNU in 2006, reports Press Gazette.
