India to have 402 million Internet users by December-end, surpass US

      currently leads with more than 600 million Internet users,” it said.

      100 to 200 million, it took only a year to move from 300 to 400 million users.
      Clearly, Internet is mainstream in India today,” the report said.

      online, especially through their mobile devices.

      user-base stood at over 300 million in December last year, which grew to 375
      million by October this year.

      has grown 65 percent over last year to reach 197 million, while the rural user
