Hungama plans to sell ad inventory for entertainment portals

Virtual Marketing India (Hungama.com) is eyeing the ad inventory sales business in the entertainment portals category. Recently, Hungama appointed Kunal Arora as ad sales head, consumer business. Prior to joining Hungama, Arora was working as regional manager, ad sales for Yahoo India’s North and East region.

Hungama owns an entertainment portal BollywoodHungama.com. The company has also signed an advertising sales deal with online video channel Nautanki.tv. Under the deal, Hungama will generate ad inventory for Nautanki.tv in the form of pre-roll and post-roll video ads of 10-30 seconds duration. [Source: Afaqs]
