Hungama.com entertainment content to be available on over 250 mobile devices

Hungama Digital Media Entertainment has adapted South Korea-based INKA Entworks’ DRM (digital rights management) Adaptor interoperability technology for its digital entertainment store, Hungama.com. According to Hungama, INKA’s DRM Adaptor will expand the availability of its WMDRM (Windows Media DRM) encrypted contents to over 250 OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) DRM equipped mobile devices.

According to Hungama, INKA’s DRM Adaptor will expand the availability of its WMDRM (Windows Media DRM) encrypted contents to over 250 OMA (Open Mobile Alliance) DRM equipped mobile devices.

“Extending Hungama’s services to mobile devices will meet the desire of end users to enjoy music and movie content wherever they want,” Neeraj Roy, MD and CEO, Hungama Digital Media, has said. “India is emerging as one of the fastest growing markets for mobile phone users. This service expansion to mobile devices via sideloading will provide premium user experience and attract a lot of mobile users.”
