Groffr.com offers group buying service in real estate, cars

Mumbai-based ICSPL has launched Groffr.com (derived from ‘GRoup OFFeR’), a group buying service that aims to aggregate demands for real estate, automobiles and electronics products and get discounts which a single buyer would have difficulty in negotiating. The website also allows users to suggest deals whenever they have a group of buyers for a particular product.

The website also allows users to suggest deals whenever they have a group of buyers for a particular product.

Groffr claims to have already done savings of Rs 19 crore on real estate deals worth Rs 91 crore (including the savings) for its customers since its launch in July 2010. Started by two IIM-Kozhikode alumni Vikhyat Srivastava and Sandeep Reddy, Groffr is now seeking Rs 5 crore in funding to accelerate its growth and open offices in cities like Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Chennai.
