Google plus Hangouts now available for Gmail users in India

Google’s video call feature ‘Hangout’ available in its social networking
website Google plus has been extended to Gmail users in India. Users can now hold Hangouts withing their Gmail accounts. Better quality video chat can be accessed by upgrading
to Google plus. Presently, nine contacts can be added on the profile after the
upgrade. Hangouts lets users watch YouTube videos of their added contacts, collaborate on Google Docs, play
games by adding apps from the menu on the left.

If the internet connection is slow, users can switch over to
ultra low bandwidth mode to keep the conversation going. Hangouts option is available
at the top of Gmail’s chat list. It can also be scheduled with Google Calendar.

Launched in 2011, Google plus is a multilingual social networking website of Google Inc. Google plus app is currently available for Android and iOS.
